Russian River Family Garden Mini-Grants

WellKind is accepting applications for mini-grant proposals from families that reside in the Russian River area of Sonoma County for the purpose of creating a new or sustaining an existing family garden.

WellKind is offering mini-grants ranging from $150.00 – to- $300.00 per family.

WellKind is also offering support in the form of outdoor educators and gardeners to assist communities in developing their garden project.

Applications must be submitted by Friday, January 29, 2021. Grant recipients will be notified by Monday, February 15, 2021.

Explain the level of support for the garden by your family. Who will help to plan, develop and maintain the garden?

Provide specifics about the garden. How large would you like the garden to be? No size is too small and we also can help with window box gardens. Last but not least what are your hopes for outcomes and benefits of having a family garden. What will you do to help this to happen?

Amount Requested and Explain, if awarded - How will your Garden mini-grant be used and what will it pay for? (Grants cover things like materials to build the garden (i.e. raised beds, gardening equipment, soil, seeds and starters, teacher stipends, fencing, and more)
