Sonoma County School Garden Mini Grant

WellKind is accepting applications for mini-grant proposals from Sonoma county public schools for the purpose of creating or to sustaining an existing school garden program or related project such as garden oriented curriculum or educational materials. Through this opportunity we wish to help schools in creating or maintaining a school garden for the benefit of students to learn about ecology, organic food production, health, as well as provide hands on lessons outdoors in the fresh air.

WellKind is offering mini-grants ranging from $250 – to- $1,500.

WellKind is also offering support in the form of outdoor educators, gardeners, curriculum, and teacher training to assist schools with their garden project.

Applications must be submitted by Friday, January 29, 2021. Grant recipients will be notified by Monday, February 15, 2021.
