About Our Work
We follow the potent frameworks of systems thinking, and relationship-based design to create empowering and locally-appropriate solutions. We listen to local leaders as they articulate their needs and collaborate to co-create projects that empower communities and nourish economic and ecological wellness.
We look to regenerative economics and relationship-based design to birth appropriate solutions that honor wellbeing, and ecological and cultural diversity for people and the planet.
Global wellness is directly related to the health of ourselves, our loved ones, our communities, and our earth. We consider wellness as the intersection of optimal health, economic empowerment, environmental regeneration, individual leadership and community strength.
GARDEN PROGRAM
Our goal is to help meet the demand for schoolyard gardens and outdoor classrooms. WellKind develops and implements school gardens to be utilized as learning labs to educate our youth about science, health, ecology, nutrition, and more. We recently expanded our program to support community gardens as bridges connecting people to the Earth, increasing awareness of health, and providing access to organic food production.
Forest Stewardship
We protect and restore forest ecosystems and the species that depend on them. Climate change poses new risks to ecosystem health, demanding innovative and proactive approaches to conservation. Forests, trees and plants are essential to the long-term health of the Earth & its atmosphere. If you are a high school student interested in new careers in forest & habitat management, learning the newest scientific discoveries, and getting college credit, join our education & vocational training program. If you are a landowner or manager, receive an innovative land management plan applying techniques that work.
